Latif Affini

Dayton Futbol Academy Trainer Latif Affini is a former collegiate player, trainer and coach that has helped players from the Dayton area reach their true potential for over three decades. Latif played at Wilmington College from 1983 to 1989, helping Wilmington reach the final four in 1988.  Following his collegiate playing days, he became the head coach at Wilmington High School in 1990.  From there he went on to become the head coach at Clinton Massie High Shool from 1991 to 1993.  From 1994 to 1996, he coached at Miami Valley School. In 1997 he moved on to coach with the Olympic Development Program.
 

Latif has also coached youth teams for several area soccer clubs including CUSA, Warriors, ISC Storm and Metro Rapids.  In addition to coaching responsibilities, Latif has helped elite players from the area further develop their skills as a personal one-on-one trainer, several to the accolade of receiving D1 scholarships.  Furthermore, Latif has trained players to the MLS level (Montreal Impact, Sporting Kansas City).  This personal training continues today.  Latif is the individual trainer for lots of High School boys and girls seeking to play at a higher level.
