Academy players and parents you’re invited to Dayton Futbol Academy’s College Interface Program on Sunday, November 3rd at 6PM. A free night to learn what you need to know about preparing for the college admission process and playing at the collegiate level. We encourage all to attend regardless of your intentions to play at the next level, there will he helpful information about you or your children’s education. There will be short presentations from a collegiate soccer coach, University athletic director, ACT prep company and high a school guidance counselor, with a question answer session to follow. At DFA we believe in providing our academy members with the tools to take what they learn in soccer and apply same to the real world. Our academy coaches and owners will be present as well to field any questions you might have.

Marty Bell
Marty is in his 13th year directing the Quincy University athletic department and is in his fifth year as the vice president for intercollegiate athletics. He joined QU in 2003 when he was a named men's basketball head coach, a role he held for 14 seasons, through the 2016-17 year. Website Email:[email protected]
Russ Lawson
Russ enters his 19th season at the helm of the Huntington University men's soccer program. Lawson, who also serves as HU's Director of Sports Facilities, graduated from Huntington in 1991 with a degree in Business Management. He currently holds a Premiere License from the NSCAA. Shelly Poeppelman & Julie Goldschmidt
Shelly Poeppelman & Julie Goldschmidt are owners of an ACT/SAT preparation company, GP Educational Services, which offers test prep workshops in both the Troy and Fort Loramie areas. Both women have a passion for helping students reach their admittance and scholarship goals; in addition, they are both teachers at Fort Loramie High School. Website Email:[email protected]
Steve Peterson
Steve currently serves as Guidance Director at Troy Christian Schools and was recently named guidance counselor of the year at the annual conference of North American Coalition for Christian Admission Professionals, NACCAP. He is also a member of National Association for College Admissions Counseling NACAC, Ohio Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators OASFAA and Ohio Association of College Admissions Counselors OACAC.
