At Dayton Futbol Academy, our mission is to develop the complete player. We are committed to building the next generation of strong, skilled, and resilient soccer players. We believe that true development happens when talent meets the right mindset.

That is why we are thrilled to launch the Dayton Futbol Academy Clinic Series, a new initiative designed to connect our players with high-level experience and mentorship. To kick off the series, we are featuring one of Dayton’s own success stories, Ali Weibel.

Who is Ali Weibel?Ali is the perfect example of where hard work and local roots can take you. A graduate of Springboro High School and a standout at Ohio Elite, Ali navigated the competitive youth soccer landscape right here in our backyard. She took that foundation to Kent State University, where she became a key defender for their Division 1 program.

But her journey didn’t stop at the collegiate level. Ali has taken her game to the global stage, representing the Philippines National Team. She knows exactly what it takes to transition from local fields to international stadiums.

What to Expect at the Clinic This event is designed exclusively players on our Dayton Futbol Academy girls teams to give them a firsthand look at the intensity and focus required at the next level.

The 75-minute session is broken down into two parts:

  • 60 Minutes of Skill Work: Players will share the field with Ali and train on the foundational skills. This isn't just about foot skills; it's about learning the work ethic and practice habits that separate good players from great ones.
  • 15 Minutes of Q&A and Autographs: We believe in the power of mentorship. After the sweat equity is put in, players will have 15 minutes to sit down with Ali, ask questions about her journey, and get autographs.

The DFA Way: Work Hard, Practice, MindsetWe want our players to leave this session understanding that improvement doesn't happen by accident. It takes:

  1. Hard Work: Giving 100% even when you are tired.
  2. Practice: Putting in the reps at home, not just at team training.
  3. The Right Mindset: Believing in yourself and never giving up after a mistake.

Join UsDon't miss this opportunity for our female athletes to train with a pro and learn what it truly means to be unstoppable.
